Coal Tar Epoxy
Coal-tar-modified epoxy protective coating
Provides a specialist protective coating for specified wastewater tanks and industrial surfaces. Exposure suitability and health restrictions require careful review.
THE MATERIAL
What it does
Coal tar epoxy combines an epoxy resin system with coal-tar constituents for particular protective-coating specifications. It is distinct from conventional epoxy coatings and should only be considered where the project and applicable restrictions permit its use.
Technical considerations
Coal-tar constituents can present significant health and environmental hazards. Review the safety data, local restrictions, ventilation and handling requirements, particularly in confined tanks. Confirm resistance to the actual wastewater and chemicals; do not assume suitability for potable water or food-contact surfaces.
Product selection depends on the surface and site conditions. Ask our team for specifications and availability.
