Overview
Reinforcement protection coatings are applied to exposed reinforcing steel after appropriate cleaning during concrete repair. The selected coating should work with the repair mortar and repair specification. It does not restore lost steel section or replace structural assessment. The extent of corrosion and the condition of surrounding concrete must be considered together.
